Silver and Gold

Make new friends, but keep the old. . .

This past weekend, I went up to my alma mater, Bucknell, with some of my lovely friends from college. We danced to Kool and the Gang and Snackbar Jones at the campus formal and ate at good old Perkins (why isn’t there a Perkins in NJ?) and BJ’s. I should tell you that I was forced to listen to a speech by Steve the entire ride home lamenting the fact that BJ’s food is so good and cheap and that it is too far away for us to go to every day.

It was awesome to see Grace, Alison and Nicole and their handsome boys again and I just wanted to give them a shout out! I also want to give a shout out to Misty, Neal, Katie, Shelly and Ruth, all of whom were not there, but should have been and were remembered in spirit!

Anyway, since I was feeling just generally nostalgic being back at school this weekend before I move out of my house for good, I thought I would extend this shout out to all my good old friends from days past. Old friends are really the best kind of friends because of all the history.

Go Bison!
