stress breakdown of the week
I think I have been holding together pretty well considering how much has been happening at once, but I totally had a meltdown yesterday.
It was a result of:
- Finding out I had gained back 5 pounds in a week
- the delivery of my desk being delayed
- my printer not working just when I needed this important thing done
- No one coming to my online class I worked so hard on
- eBay Accounting Assistant not working with QuickBooks
- a theatre pulling out of a Three Oranges performance (I lost like $200 on that one) because they said I never emailed them back. (It seems that they were emailing the wrong address.)
- My insurance company rejecting my last procedure which
- mysteriously turned up that there is nothing wrong even though I was sicker this weekend than I have been in a long time
- the UCAC almost taking me off their insurance because my payment didn’t get there in time
- the fact that my payment was delayed because I couldn’t find an envelope to mail it in in all of the chaos of boxes
- The fact that we are still living out of boxes because we haven’t had time to unpack them
- and all the wedding stuff that hasn’t even been started yet, some of which, like the honeymoon, we have pretty much passed the deadline for
It was a lot of little things, but the problem was that, everywhere I looked, there were reminders of how much I had to do and it just made things worse until I had a meltdown.
Steve was awesome, though. He listed to me rant, fixed my printer and BBQ-ed me turkey burgers so I could eat comfort food without going over my points.
So, yeah, that is why I am all about that section I quoted below today.
I am going to catch up bit by bit and try not to get stressed.
