try to catch the deluge in a paper cup

(Ok, Grace, let’s see you get that one.)

Because there cannot possibly anything such as too busy, Steve has gotten sick right as the stationary for our invites arrived and as it edges closer to crunch time for having the garage unpackaged and the rest of the stuff moved in. The poor boy is like the living dead.

I haven’t touched eBay in months which is annoying (as much as I complain, I really enjoy doing eBay) partly because I have nowhere to put the stuff and the shelves that Steve was building me were put on hold when sickness struck.

I am going to play with the printer tonight and if I can get the invites to print nicely, maybe some nice peoples can come over this weekend and we can have a wine and glue dots party and put them together.

The added complication is that I just started a new position at work which, while very good for me in the long run, myself and another new person started in this position just as the two people who used to work in this position left (one for another job, the other for grad school). So, essentially, I have the most seniority in the job though I have been doing this for about 2 weeks so if I am not sure about something, there really isn’t anyone to ask. I really want to do a good job and have them not need to hire a 3rd person as they said they might do, but it all comes at a time when I need to do Hillary stuff more than ever.

Ah, well. Keeps life interesting, right? ;-)
