I feel bad for the chick. It must suck to only have one leg.
You can never really know anything about anyone from just the media, but I hate to say it, but she comes off as a huge bitch. It’s like every attempt she makes to improve her images, she comes off as a bigger jerk. You wouldn’t think it was possible for someone who lost a leg to squander all her good will, but she has managed to do it.
When I heard she was doing Dancing With the Stars my first thought was “god, she loves attention, doesn’t she?” Horrible, I know. But every time she opens her mouth its all about herself and how wonderful she is and how hard it is to be her, etc etc. There was a tabloid picture of her carrying her leg into rehearsals and I found myself thinking “of course she wouldn’t put it in a bag, then she wouldn’t have the attention of ‘oh, poor heather and her lack of leg.’”
I went on her website and she has this page on it to “defend” herself. I figured that I would read it and like her. However, it just makes her look more self-absorbed and makes me like her even less.
It’s even very clearly written pre-divorce!
Sorry, kid. I just cannot like you. Maybe if you dance nicely the rest of the world will.
