woooha! Look at us! Newer and shinier!
. . .and also probably partially broken for a few more days while I work out the kinks, but what are you going to do.
I am very proud of myself because I. . .
- taught myself more css
- migrated four of my blogs (this one, quote board, weight loss, and ebay) from Blogger to the infinitely superior WordPress and combined them all in to one
- installed and figured out WordPress all on my own. Take that open source software!
- Created my own WordPress template using things I had around the house
Of course, the site doesn’t look quite the same as before which annoys me on some level because I spent hours trying to make it look as similar as it does, but I suppose that beggars cannot be choosers. Or is that bloggers cannot be choosers? 
Other annoyances include:
- Ordered lists look the same as unordered lists
- the right column is only transparent in IE and the left only in Firefox which makes no sense
- only about a third of the quote board transferred over so I will have to move them manually (sigh)
- All the old posts migrated over into the wrong categories and the bulk category manage plugin isn’t working so that makes me a little sad
Anyway, I know it means nothing to most of you, but it’s a big deal to me so I appreciate your feigning interest as this is something that I have been trying to do for a really long time.
