So, this story is getting a lot of press and people are yelling and screaming about how its another example of how MySpace is bad. I know that it’s fun to just get all worked up over heresay and what you heard from a friend of a friend or whatever, take a moment and actually read this story.
At it’s heart, the story isn’t really about MySpace. It’s about how some people are really MESSED UP. These people are messed up with or without MySpace.
I mean, hello? Girl A’s mom was mad at her friend, Girl B, because Girls A and B got into a fight. Girl A’s mom then made up a boyfriend for Girl B on MySpace who then turned on her and sent out bulletins about how she was fat and a loser until Girl B killed herself???!!! I mean, I am not sure that MySpace is to blame her. I think the issue is that Girl A’s mother is off her ever loving rocker, would you not agreed?
Oh and the fact that they determined that Girl A’s mom has no guilt isĀ also MESSED UP!
Then of course Girl B’s parents set fire to their pool table or something and it all went downhill from there.
Anyway, I would like to rant about this in length, but I can’t. I am ungodly busy today because we are leaving town tomorrow for the holiday so I have to get all my stuff done today.

So the 2007 Blogger’s Choice Awards were announced a few days ago and I think it’s funny that just about all the blogs I read won something. Even Go Fug Yourself and I Can Has a Cheezeburger which I read casually from time to time got runner ups each.
Rosie won best celebrity blog (she had over 7,000 votes more than the second place blog which is kinda funny and sad because I think Ross is a nice guy and he would have liked to win, but I like Rosie’s blog better so there we are). Perez won both a best and worst blog award which is just funny.
Cute Overload won best blog EVAH as well as a few others. Because it is the best blog in life, so that makes sense.
Anyway, there is just something about knowing you are tapped into the pulse of America that gives me joy. I feel hip.
Anyway, complete list of winners is here.

This review actually was featured on their site and while ago but I only just found out about it. Armchair Interviews, an Amazon top 100 reviewer, did a very nice write-up and review about The Trading Assistant’s Assistant.
Here is a wee snippet:
“Many people are making money on eBay by selling their own unwanted items. But what happens when unwanted things cease to exist and you have no more things to sell. That is where this book comes in.. . . DePiano, a seller on eBay since its inception, writes a very thorough, helpful book that is very easy to understand. The different processes are easy to implement even for people who are not technologically savvy. . . Armchair Interviews says: Great for students and stay-at-home-moms, since it provides opportunities to earn extra income.”
You can read the full review on Amazon or on the Armchair Interviews website.
