I haven’t missed the Clinton jokes. . .

Published by at 3:44 pm under The Soap Box

. . . I really haven’t. For several whole years there, I could call people up and say, “This is Hillary.” and not get “Clinton?” as reply. Sure there were a few Duff jokes in there in the meantime, but boy howdee, the Clinton jokes have started up again. They irritate me to know end. People who are named Bill or George or Brad don’t get non-stop Clinton, Bush or Pitt jokes, it’s just because mine is an unusual name and its just not fair, people. I now have to discuss politics with complete strangers who overheard my name and want to know who I will vote for because my first name is that same as a candidate. Because, you know, your vote is based on your name.

My mom named me long before anyone had heard of Hillary Clinton, people. Calm yourself.

The plus side, however, is that all sorts of other people will now make great graphics like this that I can use and pretend are about me.

You should vote for me. I would be the best president ever. Too bad I want NOOOOOOOOO part of that.

I guess, though, I have it better than these girls.
