In a shocking turn of events, my calendar is actually somewhat inspiring today

Quickly, someone draw up plans for a ski lodge in Hell because that shiz is freezing over.

You guys know my terrible calendar?

Check out today’s entry:

There is something about summer days that really does feel lazy. July is a good month to experiment with doing only what is very, very essential and letting other things go.

We busy women have difficulty distinguishing the essential from the important, the important from the “needs to be done,” and the “needs to be done” from “it probably doesn’t really matter.”

OK, not exactly awe inspiring. But it wasn’t passive aggressive, didn’t make me want to punch someone and actually played into something I was thinking about anyway. Consider the track record of this thing, I consider this a pretty big step in the right direction.

Now, if only I could actually experiment with letting things go. The problem is that then your boss tends to experiment with firing you and your business experiments with not making any money which is not ideal.

Incidentally, my husband wants me to figure out a way to work a passive aggressive “inspirational” calendar into a story of some kind. I am accepting suggestions of how.

I selected For Women Who Do Too Much Page-A-Day Calendar which was possibly the worst page a day calendar ever conceived. You can read about my well documented hatred for this calendar here, here and here. [...]
