“I try to take one day at a time but lately several days have attacked me at once.”

I have a little cardboard sign that says this which has been on my desk all through high school, college and even through my 9 to 5 office jobs. I found it recently and went to put it up my wall because, frankly, its still appropriate to my life and always will be.

So I’m going about my business yesterday, stressed out of my mind and that sign, literally attacked me. It fell off the wall exactly as I passed it and stabbed its little cardboard corner into my eye.

So now it’s not just the days that are attacking, it’s the very signs made to make light of the situation that are determined to cut me down!!

People…I need a break.
