I am happy with my current sauce recipe but I will bookmark it for future use.

It is a recipe we make very frequently of her's, garlic and zucchini with bowtie pasta from one of her cookbooks and every time we are astonished at how freaking long it takes to make and how she is a liar. The recipes are good, don't get me wrong, but call them a truthful name, lady!

Now I'm curious about what recipe you made. May I recommend this tomato sauce recipe? It needs to simmer on the stove for 45 minutes, but it literally has three ingredients (plus salt) and you don't even have to chop anything into little pieces. A can of tomatoes, an onion, cut in half, and some butter. Mmm, mmm, mmm! http://smittenkitchen.com/2010/01/tomato-sauce-...
