Give it back! Curse you foul beasts!
So the first 12 chapters of my book jump back and forth between three different sets of characters until everyone meets up in the jumble that is chapter 13. So I figured I would make more progress if, instead of going in actual order, I just went one storyline at a time. So instead of doing 5, 6, 7 tonight I would do 5, 8, 11 so that I was only dealing with the same characters all night and would have less to keep straight. But I have been stymied by the fact that chapter 11 has gone missing. This irks me.
I really hope its on my other computer (I’m on the laptop right now). I know I have to do some re-writing of that chapter but its not a total re-write and it would be nice to at least have something to start with. Ugh.
The worst part is that this storyline in 2, 5, 8 and 11 is the most exposition heavy so its the hardest to write (hence why I want to finish it first). There is so much complicated stuff to try to explain without being boring/confusing. I’m trying to adopt a mention stuff and only explain if totally necessary tact and let people figure things out on their own but I’m not sure if I’m succeeding.
I’m having a rare evening of clarity on the plot tonight so today would be a good exposition day, but I guess it is not to be.
Well, I’m not beyond the point of comprehension yet. What the heck, let’s go back and hack at good old Chapter 6 some more.
