Some progress on the Mistress Novel

So I am desperately trying to finish my Mistress Novel in advance of NaNoWriMo so that I can start a fresh book for National Novel Writing Month which is why I am frantically writing on a Friday night before I go to socialize, sad as that is.

Anyway, I managed to eek out a few more words today bringing the total up to….

(Pretend the guy above is holding a Wii Remote instead of a TV remote because that is what I am going to go do.)

God that total seems so small and it feels like I have written so much!! Oh well, nothing for it but to write more, eh?

See, I wrote up an outline for this book and a sequel for this book at the same time so I’m hoping to finish this book pre-Nov and then write the sequel for NaNo but we shall see how it goes down. It is going along well and I really think I can finish it so here’s hoping.

OK, now to go have a life. 🙂

(What’s really sad is that I am totally into what I am writing right now and don’t want to stop to go socialize. This is pathetic, I know.)
