Gosh, I haven’t done one of these in ages. Mostly because of the whole issue with the new blog post notifications that I explained here. I’ve actually got a lot going on… but I can’t actually announce all of it yet so that’ll have to wait for a future post.
In the meantime though, here’s what’s new from the last few weeks…
New Homepage! Remember how my site was busted on mobile? So I threw up a temporary new theme just so it worked with the intent of fixing it later? Well, instead of one big overhaul, I’m instead been doing a ton of tiny fixes here and there in between other things and one one of those fixes was finally getting a nicer landing page!
Isn’t it pretty? Now I don’t have to be embarrassed about giving people my url anymore! (Just embarrassed about the fact that I haven’t updated my headshot in a decade… but I’m working on that too!)
Look for other changes to the site in the near future including new sections, revamped project pages and an actual events page finally!
StagePartners gave Week Daze a shiny new cover! They also streamlined the website a bit so the streaming version, while still available, isn’t listed on the website so you need to request it.
A quote from New Year’s Thieve was featured in a major ad campaign for a in Sweden. I was told it would probably only run for the new year (as you can see, the pictures the marketing company sent me were taken around the holidays) but friends in the area have reported it was still up as of this week so that’s nifty!
That same quote has also been featured in everything from high end day planners, to major magazines like Newsweek, Good Housekeeping and Parade magazine so let me know if you spot it in the wild!
I’m now an official 4theWords Partner! What does that mean? Mostly that I am going to be blogging about them more often and may have coupons and promo codes to offer exclusive to this blog. (Regular readers know I’ve been using 4TW for 5 years now and was already referring people constantly as a satisfied power user so this is just going to be a more official extension of that!) If you want to try it out to get a feel for what it’s like, you’ll get 30 days free and some extra goodies if you sign up with my referral code AOZSY71632. DM me once you’ve signed up to let me know you’re from the blog and I’ll send you a welcome package of some in-game inventory items.
More coming soon! The fall is always the busiest time of the year for me and this year that will be truer than ever! Stay tuned for some big announcements including upcoming workshops I’ll be teaching both locally and online.
Whew! Remember when I used to post 5 days a week every single week across two blogs? Who even WAS that girl? This girl sure doesn’t have that kind of time, that’s for sure! 😅
Until next time!
