PARSIPPANY, N.J. (Wireless Flash) – Think being with a cat lady is hard work? Try living with a woman who’s hog wild for My Little Pony. That’s the dilemma facing the fiance of Hillary DePiano, a woman in Parsippany, New Jersey, who is one of America’s biggest experts on the toy line, and owns more than 1000 My Little Pony toys herself.

DePiano’s filly fixation began in childhood and never ended, mainly because she didn’t find them as disturbing as seeing “naked Barbie dolls on the floor” without their clothing.

But there may be a reason why DePiano’s dude continues to horse around with her: Some of her rubber fillies are worth more than $1000 each.

DePiano has roped together a toy guide called The My Little Pony Collector’s Inventory (Priced Nostalgia Press).
