Writing a script for a comic book or stage play? Advice just for you from @eelkat

Published by at 2:11 pm under Script Frenzy (Screnzy)

Sure, you need to write 100 pages to meet the Script Frenzy challenge, but while 100 pages may be industry standard for a screenplay, the same page limits don’t apply to comic books and stage plays.

Script Frenzy gives us a basic general rule of 1 script = 100 pages, that way we have a goal to shoot for. But remember, each industry is different, and if you are going to get that script published or produced than you are going to have to know the particular industry you are aiming it at, and tailor it to match the industry standard of your chosen target audience, and that varies widely depending on the type of script you are writing, so there is no one size fits all when it comes to script writing.

This is definitely a recommended read for anyone writing a stage play or comic. You can read the article in full here (be sure to read all 4 pages).
