Man, just feed me some caffeine and point me at some HTML and boy howdee, things get done!

Anyway, if you’ve been reading this blog since last year, you’ll remember when I launched an entirely separate blog just about Script Frenzy (the post was from March 16, 2010 but I deleted it to avoid confusion). Well, over the course of the year, I sort of realized that was stupid of me because then all the traffic and SEO and whatnot I was getting for those posts weren’t doing me a darn bit of good from the old “building a platform and career” standpoint. So I decided to blog about NaNoWriMo and Script Frenzy right here on Unpublishable Pennings from now on (since the blog is about writing anyway, duh Hillary) and I’ve been doing that, as you have likely noticed.  But for people who are only interested in those seasonal posts and only really wanted to subscribe to those, I had to get a little fancy.

So, after much fluttering about with code and whatnot, Script Frenzy tips and resources is now here in a sneaky little shell blog that is really just a special category view. (The handy, easy to remember redirect is http://Screnzy.HillaryDePiano.com) And thanks to a bit of fanciness on the back end, mostly all old bookmarks, RSS subscriptions, links and Google results will automatically redirect to the posts in their new location. I know, I’m awesome. *bows* (Editor’s Note: She’s not really awesome.)

(Wait a minute. Aren’t I the editor? I’m so lost right now. Caffeine is really not my friend.)

If you want to subscribe to the Script Frenzy portion of the blog only, you can do so here. I’ll be doing the same thing with all my NaNoWriMo posts as well to create a little mini blog for that as well when we get closer to November. Eventually, this blog will be totally taken over by shell blog mania where just about every post you see on the main page belongs to some random shell blog for that category and it will all be very very confusing for poor Hillary. But not for you. Because literally nothing will change for regular blog readers. You’ll still see everything unless you’d rather not to. I’m only telling you all this because it was a lot of freaking work and I just want someone to at least pretend to care *sobs*.

OK, I’m better now. Man, my verbal tics are a million times worse when I’m writing with the voice program, aren’t they? I’m trying to delete as I go but, jeez.

I just wanted to write up a quick post on this for people who may have been confused as to why the Script Frenzy blog looks rather drastically different then it did before. That’s just basic laziness on my part, it was just way easier to drop it into the standard Unpublishable Pennings theme rather than try to import the movie theatre theme just for the mini blog, my apologies if you were attached to the other look.  I assure you that, functionally, they are exactly the same.

For fans of the other blog, I know I owe you an updated Widget and desktop backgrounds for 2011 but that will have to be on another caffeine binge. I need to go do real work now. 🙂
