Welcome to the other side, intrepid script writers!
Maybe you are now sitting on 100 or more pages of shiny new script (or scripts!). Maybe you fell a little short of the 100 but have an impressive start on something you can finish or edit into something ship shape later.
Either way, I salute you! You did something really impressive this month. While other people were making excuses, watching TV and generally not stressing themselves out, you pony-ed up, got your butt in the chair and wrote a whole bunch this month. Maybe it was a huge stack of 100 or more pages. Maybe it was just a slightly less huge stack of under 100 pages. Either way, you gave it your all and you deserve some huge congratulations!
As they put it over at Screnzy HQ:
Congratulations!
Our page-counting robots have just sent us a telegram: You are an official Script Frenzy 2010 winner!
This is something to celebrate!
Gather your friends, pop the champagne, and put your dancing shoes. If anything deserves a victory dance, this is it!
There were good writing days and there were bad writing days, and you wrote through them all!
Everyone here in the office is applauding your tremendous dedication and 100-page accomplishment. All this success has got us thinking, if you can pen a better-than-you-thought 100 pages in 30 days, what else can you do? The script you wrote this month is just the beginning. We have a great feeling about what you are capable of achieving when you put your mind to it.
If your a Screnzy participant, winner or not, give yourself a shout out below. You’re awesome for even attempting this challenge and you deserve acknowledgment of that!
Let’s sit back and celebrate for a few days before we start editing, hmm?
