While there are some widgets designed specifically for Script Frenzy, I’ve found your best bet is adapting an existing meter to fit your needs.
My pick: NaNoWriMo Word Meter from Language is a Virus
Designed for NaNoWriMo, this little wonderful little widget is very very adaptable to many situations, including Script Frenzy. (I’ve also used it for book reading challenges, to do lists, weight loss and more, it is really my go-to widget for everything!)
For instance:
If I change the default word goal to 100, input my current page count (37) and then submit, it gives me this:
37 / 100 words. 37% done!
So then, all I need to do is go change the word “words” above to “pages” and I am all set with this:
37 / 100 pages. 37% done!
Even better? It’s customizable to any color and is just a bit of code so it won’t slow down your site or the hosting site or ever crash.
Disadvantages? Well, it is HTML so depending on how your CSS is set up, it may not work on your page without a little tweaking.
Play around with it. I think you’ll find it’s just what you need.
