I know, I know. So many blog posts this week. I’m trying to get all my Screnzy posts up early so that they get shared and retweeted both before and during Script Frenzy. There is a method to my madness, I swear.
Anyway, I wanted to let you know about a talk I’m doing at the Rockaway Library tomorrow evening, March 15th at 7 PM.
Intro to Script Writing and Script Frenzy Interest Meeting
Thursday, March 15 at 7 PMHave you ever wanted to write a script for a movie, TV show, stage play comic book or video game but didn’t know where to begin? Join playwright Hillary DePiano for an overview of the script writing process, tips for publication and advice for finshing that all important first draft as part of April’s Script Frenzy.
You are, of course, shocked to learn that this post is also Script Frenzy related. 😉
This is open to everyone, of any experience level, even if you aren’t sure if Script Frenzy is your thing and just want to learn more about the script writing process in general. Think of it as an interest meeting, no commitment needed. I’m not expecting a huge group so it’s a great chance to ask some questions and pick my brain about the script writing and publishing process. Please feel free to bring a friend, family member or complete stranger off the street, anyone you think might be interested in learning a little more about the writing process behind movies, television, theatre, comics or more. No RSVP required, you can just show up, but if you want to give the library a call, it would help them know how many chairs to put out.
I hope to see you there!

Hillary DePiano is a playwright, fiction and non-fiction writer who loves writing of all kinds except for writing bios like this.
