My Yankee Doodle brother

My little brother’s birthday is today. (He’s also technically not little anymore because he has multiple feet on me but, whatever.) His name is Sam.

Meaning someday when my future children sing “Yankee Doodle Boy” it will be factually accurate with only one small change.

I’m a Yankee Doodle Dandy,
A Yankee Doodle, do or die;
A real live nephew of my Uncle Sam,
Born on the Fourth Third of July.

See? Accurate.

Gotta love that.
